With the second edition of “Un Mare di Suoni. Contaminazioni sonore dal Mediterraneo” at Volvo Studio Milano we set off once again towards the discovery of music from the Mediterranean. Here, sounds evade borders: they sail freely and spontaneously mingle with each other, in all the lands they encounter.
With artists of international calibre, we will visit through music and sound France together with the Maghreb, Israel and Turkey: if it is true that each territory has its own traditional music, it is also true that no civilisation can live without exchange with other cultures, and the journey across the Mediterranean is a clear example of this.
Three dates between March and May 2023 dedicated to the exploration of North African, French, Israeli and Turkish sounds.
