After an acclaimed debut at the Roundhouse in 2024, a sold-out tour, and the broadcast on Arte of the concert recorded in Paris, “The Songs of Joni Mitchell” finally arrives in Italy. A project celebrating one of the greatest songwriters of all time, through the unique voices of artists who continue to draw inspiration from her music. The project features Jesca Hoop and Lail Arad, who will perform intimate interpretations of selected songs by Joni Mitchell. During the show, they will be joined by special guests “for an extraordinary collective reinterpretation of the songwriter’s works,” as described by Clash Magazine. Originally conceived and curated by Lail Arad to celebrate Joni Mitchell’s 80th birthday, the performance is rich with “intimate and refined performances.”
