The appointment with LA STORIA DEL JAZZ (THE HISTORY OF JAZZ) with Paolo Tomelleri and his musician friends, as he likes to call them, the friends who in life accompany him in his great passion and profession as a musician, continues in October at Teatro Bello Milano. Protagonist on stage in the dual role of narrator and musician: PAOLO TOMELLERI. He will also be the narrator of this journey through history, places and genres of music and jazz.

A pleasant, engaging and fascinating story is what emerges from the voice of Paolo Tomelleri who with love, enthusiasm and passion for his music engages the audience in the auditorium. The show is also a fitting tribute to his career as an eclectic musician who at 84 years of age is artistically active and has long become a point of reference for many young musicians and students. The 20 October date will see a tribute to COUNT BASIE (pseudonym of William Allen Basie) American pianist and composer, exactly 40 years after his death. A great musical event also due to the presence of some of the best musicians on the Italian and Milanese jazz scene, for the occasion Paolo Tomelleri will be accompanied by Luca Missiti’s Monday Orchesta with the following musicians: Paolo Tomelleri – clarinet and vocals Luca Missiti – trombone and arrangements Daniele Moretto – trumpet Andrea Ciceri – alto sax Tullio Ricci – tenor sax Ubaldo Busco – baritone sax Fabrizio Bernasconi – piano Marco Mistrangelo – double bass Tony Arco – drums
