Taan Trio

The Trio was born in 2017 because Alberto N.A. Turra wanted to verify his solo repertoire and move it to a trio (guitar/ bass/ drums) with William and Stefano. After It Is Preferable tour 2018, with more than 30 shows in Italy and New York City, there was the need of showing the deepness of the improvisation, sincretism between languages, of cultures and avant-gardes, of the contemporary, of the interplay and rituality. The result was It Is Preferable record, that Turra describes as “ the necessary tribute and thanks to the talent and sensibility of the two devils, William and Stefano, that spent in reading, rehearsal after rehearsal, concert after concert, a music that I have never thought it’d sculpt with such an intensity”.
