The new Auditorium in Carugate hosts JAZZMI with the live performance of the quartet composed of Pepe and Pancho Ragonese, Ares Tavolazzi and Giovanni Giorgi, who offer modern jazz open to different rhythmic influences. An event that will appeal to lovers of more traditional jazz, but also to those open to new sonic experiences.
The quartet offers a journey into semi-acoustic sounds through the original compositions of the Pepe brothers and Pancho Ragonese.
Modern jazz then, open to rhythmic influences that also find in the “groove” a possibility of interaction with the more “traditional” characteristics of the genre.
The repertoire will range from pieces composed over the years and taken from various records, in which the Ragonese brothers have been joined by Tavolazzi and Giorgi.
There will also be a revisitation of some standards selected and rearranged consistently with the spirit and sound of the group.
