JAZZMI arrives and concludes its 2020 journey in San Donato Milanese with a schedule of events and special projects that will involve big names in jazz and artists in special projects. The program is supported by Fondazione di Comunità Milano Onlus and the City of San Donato Milanese and includes the special project of Raffaele Kohler Swing Band in the new park of the city and with the involvement of students of the Civic Schools of Music of San Donato Milanese.
Was music born first or dance first? We’ll never know that. We know, however, that the Raffaele Kohler Swing Band was born to make you dance, on the sidewalks, in the squares, in the dance halls, in the theaters and even in your home. The swing rhythm is supported by the drums of Stefano Grasso, the walking bass are designed by the Luciano Macchia’s euphonium, the chords and the manouche touch come from the guitars of Matteo D’Amico and Francesco Moglia, the elegance of the melodies and the words from the voice of Gabriella De Mango, all colored by the ringing improvisations of Raffaele Kohler’s cornet.
