Short Story Long, the debut album by pianist Pasquale Ivan Dante Rinaldi, is a collection of thoughts and emotions in music that Pasquale developed during his residency in Scandinavia. In this concert, the composer will take the listener on an intimate journey.
For his debut album Short Story Long, released 29 March, young pianist Pasquale Ivan Dante Rinaldi has chosen three important musicians as his travelling companions: renowned Danish bassist Jesper Bodilsen (Stefano Bollani’s collaborator), Fulvio Sigurtà on trumpet and Alessandro Paternesi on drums.
The concert will feature pieces composed by Pasquale and recorded on his disc, in a journey into the intimacy of the pianist, escorted by sounds typical of northern European jazz but with strong influences from the modern New York scene. For the occasion, Pasquale will be joined by some of the best young musicians on the Italian and Danish scene, with whom he has already had the good fortune to collaborate in various projects.
