Paolo Fresu & Omar Sosa will perform a courageous show that, through music, aims to investigate the pleasure of taste and conviviality, also reflecting on the importance of healthy eating and the global situation of food on the planet.
An enterprising project, realised by a line-up capable of changing the more traditional way of ‘hearing’ music. On the one hand, the experience of Paolo Fresu, one of the most important names in music of the last forty years; artistic director of the ‘Time In Jazz’ festival in Berchidda, he is distinguished for the realisation of projects that mix jazz with ethnic sounds, world music and contemporary music.
On the other hand, the lively artistic generosity that characterises Omar Sosa, a composer and pianist who is globally considered an original and courageous artist. His music stands as a cosmopolitan centre within which different cultural traditions are interwoven, originating from Afro-Cuban rhythms mixed with sounds from Western Europe and the Mediterranean.
