On the occasion of JAZZMI 2022, the eclectic atmosphere of the restaurant-bistro Le Biciclette will host Martino Vercesi, a well-known guitarist on the Milanese jazz scene, who will offer, together with his companions Stefano Pennini and Matteo Frigerio, a repertoire that pays homage to the most famous jazz standards, revisiting them with original arrangements.
The trio is made up of Martino Vercesi on guitar, Stefano Pennini on Hammond organ and Matteo Frigerio on drums and offers arrangements of standards by Thelonious Monk, Jimmy Van Heusen and Bud Powell among others.
The balance between mainstream and contemporary vocabulary and the dense interplay between the three instrumentalists is the peculiarity of this line-up.
