A seminal collective in African music, the legendary Baobab Orchestra continues to reinvent the Afro-Cuban sound, bringing the magic of Senegal from the intimate clubs of Dakar to stages around the world. For the occasion, they will present live their latest project Made In Sénégal, due out next October. Tradition and modernity blend to perfection and find ample space in the second chapter of an ambitious journey, which began with the first album Made in Dakar. Swinging rumba, Makindka sounds and Afro-Cuban echoes will echo at Milan’s Alcatraz, reminding us of a fundamental truth: Orchestra Baobab’s music is eternal.
