VOLVO STUDIO OPENS ITS DOORS AT JAZZMI 2022 WITH THE FIRST OF FOUR CONCERTS IT WILL HOST DURING JAZZMI 2022: OLIVIA TRUMMER WILL GIVE US AN INTIMATE PIANO AND VOCAL PERFORMANCE, IN THE LIGHT OF THE NORTHERN LIGHTS, OVER A FINE DRINK.
Initially a pianist and composer, Olivia Trummer only began to identify with the role of singer in her early twenties.
This metamorphosis also manifests itself in her discography, which to date counts 9 albums, all with original music: after two acclaimed purely instrumental albums, ‘Nach Norden’ and ‘Westwind’, she began to emerge as a singer and songwriter, releasing ‘Nobody Knows’ in 2010.
Shortly afterwards, the singer released another surprise, ‘Poesiealbum’ (2011), an album containing her original jazz cabaret songs in German, receiving excellent reviews from the press.
Olivia’s ninth album, ‘For You’, was released on 4 March 2022 and marks her debut on the Warner Music Italy label. It consists of a series of new songs about integrity and courage and includes Kurt Rosenwinkel and Fabrizio Bosso as special guests.
