Among the best-kept recent secrets of the British jazz and electronic scene, Momoko Gill will present her first solo album live, an intense and personal work that intertwines jazz, electronica and songwriting in an original and uncompromising language. Growing up in Japan, the United States, and London, she channeled her international journey into nuanced music, where grooves, experimentation, and mature, emotionally charged songwriting found their way. Fresh from his acclaimed collaboration with Matthew Herbert on the project “Clay”, Momoko boasts prestigious collaborations with artists such as Alabaster DePlume, Shabaka Hutchings and Tirzah, confirming himself as one of the most interesting voices in the new UK-made scene.
