Uri Caine has played, as a pianist, in groups led by Philly Joe Jones, Hank Mobley, Odean Pope, Bobby Durham and Grover Washington, among others, and has recorded over 33 records as a leader for Blue Note, Tzadik and especially Winter & Winter. As a composer, he has worked with orchestras and chamber music groups around the world, including the American Composers Orchestra, the Vienna Volksoper, the BBC Concert Orchestra, Concerto Koln and the Arditi Quartet.
Theo Bleckmann is a multiple GRAMMY-nominated vocalist, composer and recording artist who has recorded over 20 albums and collaborated with artists such as Ambrose Akinmusire, Sheila Jordan, Kneebody, Ben Monder, Bang on a Can All-Stars and, most importantly, Meredith Monk. As a composer, he has received commissions from the American Composers Orchestra, E-Mex Berlin and the Jack Quartet.
