Meet The Artist with NeN – Hypnotic Brass Ensemble
NeN Energia and JAZZMI bring the powerful ‘Hypnotic Brass Ensemble’ to the Teatro dei Burattini: music, stories and a special surprise for the festival audience.
In the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, the music runs deep. Growing up on Chicago’s South Side, the group consists of seven brothers, sons of jazz trumpeter Phil Cohran, who played with the deeply spiritual jazz group Sun Ra Akestra. Their father educated them from childhood to play the trumpet, instilling in them a deep sense of the spiritual roots of music.
JAZZMI together with NeN – a partner of the festival – invites you to the third JAZZMI artist meeting. It will be an afternoon to remember.
