Joe Barbieri

Thanks to the fortunate intuition of Pino Daniele, who placed an 18-year-old Joe first in a studio and then on 7 October 1992 on the stage of the Castrocaro New Voices Festival, an exciting journey began that over time has given rise to a cultured, passionate repertoire, cloaked in delicacy and cheerfulness, in which Joe Barbieri’s loyal fans have heard the folds of their lives told with respect and care. This concert will feature for the first time songs from Joe’s debut album, as well as some songs that have never or hardly ever been performed live before, all backed by the unmissable presence of many of the Neapolitan singer-songwriter’s most successful songs. On stage, in addition to Joe (with his voice and unfailing guitar), will be Pietro Lussu (piano), Bruno Marcozzi (percussion and drums) and Daniele Sorrentino (double bass).
