The aim of HackOut!, a brass-less trio formed in 2019, is to search for their own sound identity by emphasising the musical personalities of the individual elements, experimenting with the balance between harmonic structures and radical improvisation, acoustic and electric timbres.
The HackOut! Trio released their first record Cedrus Libani in 2021 and Sad Music For happy elevators in 2023.
In the past years they have performed at some of the most important festivals in Europe, including France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway and Italy. They have also collaborated with musicians such as Jacky Terrasson, Francesco Diodati, Fulvio Sigurtà and Francesco Giomi. They will present their new album in the autumn of 2024, a work they have realised thanks to a month-long artistic residency at the Italian Cultural Institute in Madrid.
