JAZZMI and I-Jazz are back together again to highlight and bring out the new Italian jazz talents, eclectic personalities and extraordinary musicians who show us the new trends in contemporary jazz at ARCA, the new cultural centre in the Romolo district that hosts JAZZMI 2022 as the first major event in its programme.
Fabio Giachino, an eclectic artist, moves within the boundaries of jazz and improvised music as a pianist, but is very active in electronic music as a producer (live and in the studio) and as a classical organist. Born in Alba (CN), he trained at the conservatory (Alessandria and Turin) where he obtained a diploma and 2nd level degree in Organ and C.O. and a 2nd level degree in Jazz.
Privately he attended lessons and masters in Italy and abroad (Zurich, New York, Detroit) with: D.Moroni, A.Faraò, F.Hersh, S.Battaglia, F.D’an- drea, R.Zegna, J.T.Watts, S.Colley, L.Louke, J.Calderazzo.
In 2010 he founded his trio with Davide Liberti and Ruben Bellavia with whom he has shared about 10 years of activity between records (four, the last one released in 2019 for Cam Jazz), collaborations and international tours.
