‘DON’T WORRY, BE JAZZ’ Singer Elena Andreoli and the great Paolo Tomelleri share a love for the same kind of music and an attitude of never taking themselves too seriously. In this show they will present a light-hearted voyage of discovery of various lesser-known swing and jazz pieces, in which voice and clarinet take centre stage.
Accustomed since her youth to the stage, to entertaining and singing, Elena Andreoli is a versatile and eclectic artist, able to interpret, even in a theatrical sense, the pieces she chooses and to transmit to the public all the energy and joie de vivre of ‘her’ jazz. In Don’t worry, be jazz, the Milanese vocalist (who boasts collaborations with Giorgio Gaslini, Bruno Martino, Antonio Faraò, Sergio Fanni, Michele Bozza and Fabrizio Bernasconi), her musicians and the timeless Paolo Tomelleri, Italy’s most famous jazz clarinetist, will take the audience on a light-hearted journey to discover swing and jazz pieces that are perhaps little heard, but of great quality, in which voice and clarinet will be the masters. All with vitality and irony, lightness and class, fun and energy.
