We return to Cascina Nascosta after the guided tour of Parco Sempione for some healthy bebop. What better ending to an afternoon in the park?
The project stems from the long-standing collaboration between violinist Simone Draetta and Daniele Gregolin on guitar, and the more recent meeting with Alessio Magliari, a Roman pianist and young up-and-comer of Italian swing. Thus was born a trio with an unusual line-up, in a drumless configuration that never renounces rhythmic incisiveness.
The group offers a vast repertoire of songs from the swing and bebop era, enriched by the compositional originality of the arrangements and the inspiration and virtuosic vein of the three musicians.
