Hailed by JazzTimes as the architect of a true “alternative jazz scene”, David Binney is among the most daring and innovative minds in contemporary jazz. At JAZZMI he performs alongside Grammy-winning drummer and composer Louis Cole (founding member of the acclaimed Knower). Between improvisation, dizzying rhythms and an almost telepathic understanding, the two musician transform every concert into a debordant experience. Considered one of the most striking ensembles on the international live scene, their concert is not limited to being heard, but allows listeners to experience it firsthand.
