What happens when electronic music, traditional instruments, robotics, and visual arts come together in a single immersive experience? The result is LUMINA, a new production by C’mon Tigre, a collective known for intertwining sound and visual languages in multisensory experiences. A radical journey, a collective ritual that breaks down the barriers between stage and audience, between real and digital.
After years of artistic and technological research, LUMINA debuts in Bologna (Robot Festival) and arrives in Milan for JAZZMI.
LUMINA is a true sensory architecture. The audience, equipped with wireless headphones, is immersed in 360° spatialized audio, while lights and lasers transform the space into a living, pulsating visual organism. At the center is a hybrid ensemble: five musicians and a robot percussionist playing instruments from different cultures. The audience moves freely, as in a ritual rave that explores the body, ritual, and perception.
Produced with the support of the Emilia-Romagna Region, LUMINA is an open laboratory on the integration of art and technology, guided by one question: what role does technology play in the human experience today?
The project is part of Making Kin, BASE Milano’s 2025 program dedicated to building new alliances between bodies, intelligences, and imaginaries of the present.
