Claudio Fasoli’s sound is engaging and exciting for both jazz fans and those who do not feel so close to jazz.
In the ‘Next’ quartet, we find Claudio in the company of three great artists: guitarist Simone Massaron, who can very happily develop a musical discourse characterised by sound waves rich in emphasis and expressive poignancy, double bassist Tito Mangialajo Rantzer, who brings to the stage the rich expressive baggage of his material sound, and finally Stefano Grasso, on drums, who further enriches the quartet’s soundscape through his distinctive rhythmic effectiveness and a peculiar choice of timbre that he manages excellently.
