The quartet comprises saxophonist Mirko Fait, the talented pianist Joe Zangaro and the excellent double bass player Chiara Bianchi. Drummer Giorgio Vogli completes the line-up.
The line-up retraces the atmospheres of cool jazz and bossanova from the 1950s and 1960s, reinterpreting pieces dear to Chet Baker, Stan Getz, Miles Davis, Art Pepper and Tom Jobim with some original pieces by the saxophonist and pianist inspired by that period, with soft atmospheres and improvisations with a strong melodic component.
