Raised in Florida, Bob Reynolds started playing the saxophone at the age of 13. After high school he honed his skills at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he was mentored by George Garzone, Hal Crook and others.
Over the years, he became an accomplished composer and saxophonist, winning Grammys with the Snarky Puppy and playing for five years alongside John Mayer, his former partner at Berklee College. After his experience with John Mayer, he recorded ‘Somewhere in Between’ (2013) as a solo artist, which took him to the top of the digital jazz charts.
In 2017, he released Guitar Band, which debuted at number seven on Billboard’s Contemporary Albums chart.
From 2017 to 2020, his musical output was copious: five albums in four years! Guitar Band (2017), Hindsight (2017), Quartet (2018), A message for Mobley (2019), Runaway (2020).
