Cecilia Guzmán Sánchez is a Spanish singer originally from Granada. After starting her classical vocal studies at the Ángel Barrios Conservatory in her hometown, she continued them at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory in Venice and later at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, where she earned her Master’s degree in classical singing under the guidance of Maestro Luisa Giannini. Throughout her training, she has received numerous awards in international competitions and performed in prestigious theaters and concert halls across Italy and Europe. Her encounter with pianist Alessio Nelli, a musician who has collaborated with artists such as Angelina Mango and Giovanni Caccamo, as well as the Andrea Bocelli Foundation, marked the beginning of a new artistic path. Together, they launched a project that weaves classical training with folk traditions, reinterpreting the great masterpieces of Andalusian and Latin American music through a personal lens that blends interpretive elegance, emotional intensity, and contemporary sounds.
