At the iconic The Westin Palace, on the hotel’s characteristic rooftop, JAZZMI offers a concert with a strong popular flavour: from Morricone to Modugno to George Gershwin, a journey among the great composers led by the Aldo&Nick Duo.
The solid collaboration between the two musicians started more than 10 years ago within the walls of the academy: this bond has allowed them to develop a high affinity and understanding in the repertoire of Italian music, with jazz, classical and world music variations.
The duo will perform popular pieces and original compositions, also reinterpreting great songwriters who have gone down in history for their authenticity and communicative functions. Ennio Morricone, Domenico Modugno, Cole Porter and George Gershwin are just some of the authors who have inspired our artists.
