Mefisto Brass
Last event of the day at Parco del Centenario, where Forestami and JAZZMI colour Trezzano sul Naviglio with music. Wind instruments become ‘electric’ in the experimental sound of Mefisto Brass, where the old school of jazz meets the new.
Mefisto Brass was born in 2019 in Milan. In the form of a street band, they offer an original repertoire, the result of a collective method of composition based on improvisation and the reworking of sounds typical of electronic music and techno, reformulating and adapting them to a line-up made up exclusively of wind and percussion instruments, without the aid of any electronic equipment.
The band became part of the Milanese scene and soon began to make a name for themselves throughout Italy, performing at clubs, concert halls and festivals.
