Voice, clarinet, drums and synth: this is Tendha, an unusual jazz formation, presenting its original repertoire amidst the colours and scents of the RED bistrot bookshop in Gae Aulenti.
Tendha’s artistic inspiration stems from their passion for 80s/90s video game soundtracks, created by combining no more than four virtual instruments simultaneously. In fact, the band composes by combining two melodic lines (the voices), a third line for the lower notes (played by the bass clarinet) and a fourth characterised by sequences of percussive noises (played by the drums). The male and female voices intertwine with the bass clarinet’s grave sounds, while the pulsating accompaniment of the drums and synthesisers frame the different original compositions.
