On the centenary of Miles Davis’ birth, he returns “A New Sketches of Spain”. Flamenco star Israel Galván, along with American trumpeter Michael Leonhart and his ensemble, reinterprets one of jazz’s absolute masterpieces. The Spain that Miles Davis and Gil Evans carved into a perfect record in New York in 1960, a Spain transfigured into music, still charged with the truth and eloquence of dreams, finally returns home, to its natural place: the flamenco splendor of Israel Galván. This is “A New Sketches of Spain”.
