An encounter between sonorities, worlds and cultures geographically distant from each other results in a musically unprecedented synergy. A sensorial journey that savours the impervious charm of remote cities and landscapes, returning different images, flavours and colours to the listener’s imagination. A project bringing together Bijan Chemirani, Iranian master of traditional percussion and oud, Redi Hasa, Albanian virtuoso cellist, and Rami Khalifé, a classically trained Lebanese pianist, has resulted in a project that skilfully blends jazz notes with the world of world music and a taste of Middle Eastern music.
