Joe Zangaro Quartet

Joe Zangaro was born in Trebisacce (CS). He approached the piano when he was only four years old, first devoting himself to classical studies and then becoming passionate about jazz music. In 2016, he obtained a first-level academic diploma in jazz piano at the Stanislao Giacomantonio Conservatory in Cosenza, with top marks and honours. During his studies, he had the opportunity to study piano with maestro Davide Santorsola, who profoundly marked his interpretative conception of jazz music. Other important academic experiences were those with Julian Oliver Mazzariello, Rossano Sportiello, Ares Tavolazzi, Dino Massa and Nicola Pisani. Despite his young age, many have been his musical collaborations, among the most important in the jazz field those with: Ares Tavolazzi, Tom Kirckpatrick, Alessandro Presti, Sebastiano Ragusa, Luca Garlaschelli, Attilio Zanchi, Enzo Zirilli, Giorgio Grobu, Matteo Rebulla.
