The quintet led by saxophonist Mirko Fait proposes a journey into the origins of bossanova, drawing directly from the period when the fusion of Brazilian music and jazz began, the 1960s and 1970s.
Clara Luna, singer and composer, is the daughter of Kal dos Santos.
As a child, she showed an innate passion for singing, beginning her musical career as a chorister. She later decided to dedicate herself to singing as a soloist, specialising in jazz at the Civic Jazz Courses in Milan. She explores different musical genres including bossanova, pop and R&B, demonstrating great ductility and interpretive balance.
Mirko Fait, composer and tenor, soprano and alto saxophonist, has 7 singles and 33 albums to his credit.
Joe Zangaro took up the piano when he was only four years old, first devoting himself to classical studies and then becoming passionate about jazz music.
