The PSOAS trio decided to search for their own sound without having a bass player as a fourth element: the affinity of the three was born upstream, from life experience, regardless of the instrument played.
‘We compose music out of necessity: forms and melodies are born out of our peculiar experience, which we shape and pursue in the daily rehearsal/composition process and during live performance.
This investigation has an iridescent outcome in meticulous compositions, between jazz ballad and rock, world music and prog: a search for balance between memory and dream, between firm intuitions like trees and fragile certainties.’
