Elena Andreoli Quintet feat. Paolo Tomelleri

Elena Andreoli, a sophisticated singer with a warm voice and black overtones, is leading a quintet of up-and-coming talents from the Milanese scene, with special guest the great clarinettist Paolo Tomelleri. The band’s repertoire will range from early jazz, that of the Golden Age, to bebop, ragtime to Charleston, blues to swing, early jazz to jive. The aim of Elena Andreoli and her musicians is to bring jazz back to its most joyful dimension: it is no coincidence that their concerts are a concentrate of energy and a hymn to the lightness of those who – through sounds, rhythms, arrangements and words – enjoy themselves and want to have fun.
