The trio’s aesthetics range irresponsibly from the music of Ornette Coleman to that of Paul Motian, surfing without fear of incongruity to Jimi Hendrix’s Angel while traversing, with original pieces, the 80s and 90s jazz territories from which the crossover originated
The trio, which fits into the groove of bassless experiences, consists of the renowned tenor player Daniele Cavallanti, Alberto N. A. Turra on guitar/fx and Marco Cavani on drums.
The Ramblin’ Trio has the clear intention of liberating the form in search of a dialogue between the parts with an infra-generational flavour.
