Canto a Dois is a concert of Brazilian music where voice and guitar join forces on songs by Jobim, Baden Powell, Joao Bosco, Dori Caymmi and Guinga.
Debora Dienstmann (voice) and Gabriele Franzi (classical guitar) ‘Canto a dois’ a project dedicated to a Brazilian repertoire where the guitar is the protagonist along with the voice. In the pieces they propose to the public the
voice and guitar intertwine into a single instrument, retracing the notes
of songwriters and guitar virtuosos such as Baden Powell, João
Bosco, Guinga and Dori Caymmi. The common passion for this repertoire and
the desire to bring it to the public has united the two musicians in this new
musical project. The duo released their first album in March 2024.
