Inspired by jazz, funk, the Afro-Cuban tradition and electronic music, MIRADOR’s music addresses the instinctive part, the part that stimulates the body to activate itself. Composition and improvisation are mixed with an electronic music component and a marked rhythmic identity.
MIRADOR is the project of drummer Simone Tecla, also composer of the project’s music, who has gathered around him musicians with diverse experiences.
There are many collaborations that the group’s members have collected, and just as many influences that have underpinned the project’s music, in which composition is mixed with improvisation, with a component of electronic music and a marked rhythmic identity.
