The band was created in 2015 by Giorgia Faraone, voice and leader of the band, flanked by the drummer Cristian Martina, loyal music companion. The meeting with the other band members, the electric bassist Giancarlo Martino and the keyboard player Andrea Rossetti, permitted them to define a path facing to research an original sound. The spontaneous interaction between the musicians has generated a neo-soul, jazz, funky and R’n’B organic and homogeneous sound.

Giorgia Faraone, young singer always passionate about afroamerican music, has graduated in Jazz singing at Conservatorium Tito Schipa in Lecce. In 2015 was among the winners of the call “giovani” of the Locomotive Jazz Festival, a project directed by Raffaele Casarano, thanks to which, in addition to deepen the studies, she could perform in various jazz contexts, including the open act of Heartland by Paolo Fresu.
With the band Giorgia Faraone & THE, she took part to various festivals and events, including the open acts of Trace Elements – Paolo di Sabatino, Christian Galvez, Jojo Mayer - and Gegè Telesforo & Soundzero for Summer Jazz Week in 2015.
In 2017 she performed in the festival Blue Shadow by Maestro Alessandro Quarta, as opening act to Manu Chao and VudZ’s concert and she also performed a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald for Bologna la strada del jazz.
She’s currently engaged with Giorgia Faraone & THE in the making of their first album, devoting at the same time herself to live activity and the deepening of jazz studies, without losing sight of research on her instrument thanks to the modern use of electronic tools, source of original inspirations.
