Three very different concerts become an opportunity to discover the city’s melting pot of Via Padova, an open harbor hosting a contamination of cultures. Here, in collaboration with Lacittàintorno, JAZZMI will invite you to discover three extraordinary places where different stories meet every day to build the city of tomorrow. At Giardino della Madia, in collaboration with cooperativa COMIN and ArteMadia, the appointment is with Lucy’s Pie Tiny Orchestra.
The Lucy’s Pie Tiny Orchestra was founded in autumn 2014 in Milan for a debut of excellence at the Lindy Hop Festival Swing in Milan. They blend the style of the great ’30s, the effervescence of the contemporaries, and the sweetness of cakes that Lucy, the grandmother of America, prepared while telling when she was dancing the Charleston. Lucy’s Pie are style and elegance, energy and rhythm, tradition and modernity.
Beatrice Arrigoni | voice, Guido Bianchini | double bass, Yuri Biscaro | guitar, Andrea Centonze | drums, Arturo Garra | clarinet
