Bebo Ferra – paolino Dalla Porta Duo
Bebo Ferra and Paolino Dalla Porta have collaborated together since 1995 in various formations and recording projects including the Devil 4tet by Paolo Fresu and the trio 3 of Visions with Fabrizio Sferra. The Duo was founded in 1997 on commission of the Southern Italian Cultural Center for a show of acoustic duets and original music held at the Absidal Hall of Santa Lucia in Bologna and since then the Duo has played in numerous international festivals and exhibitions such as Clusone, Arnhem (Holland), Umbria Jazz, Roccella, Berchidda, Siena Jazz, Torbole, Expo Cagliari, Garda Festival, Nuoro Jazz and many others, participating in several radio broadcasts for Rai.

Poetic dimension, energy, color, creativity, are some of the main coordinates from which the original compositions of Dalla Porta e Ferra are born and developed. The common denominator is jazz, as a language in continuous transformation and as a research for new syntheses through the European and Mediterranean roots.

Bebo Ferra
Guitarist and composer, he began his musical career in Sardinia in the early eighties to move later in Milan. He has recorded a hundred records of which six as a leader and has participated in the most important Italian and foreign Jazz festivals. In addition to jazz experiences he has collaborated on original projects with Antonella Ruggiero, Andrea Parodi and with the contemporary music ensemble Sentieri Selvaggi.

Paolino Dalla Porta
Paolino Dalla Porta is regarded as one of the most eclectic and interesting bassists on both the Italian and European scene. Since his de- but in the late 1970s, he has strived to combine different musical languages by collaborating with such artists as Pat Metheny, Enrico Rava, Dave Liebman, Lester Bowie, Paolo Fresu and Mick Goodrick.
