Gianni Coscia e Daniele Di Bonaventura
Two great musical personalities who managed to perfectly fuse their re- spective sounds, creating a final result that highlights their unity as well as their individuality. Their music moves between Jazz and popular tra- dition, a deep interaction aiming to re-evaluate eclectic, yet compatible cultural heritages, mixed with atmospheres recalling the Italian folk tunes of Di Bonaventura’s native Abruzzo.
Gianni Coscia, master of the accordion, began his career very young. Throughout his life he performs alongside top level musicians such as Giorgio Gaslini, with whom he participates in the festival of Roccella Jonica. He performs also in RAI Symphony Orchestra, where he takes part in the opera Ascesa e rovina della città di Mahagonny by Kurt Weil. It is precisely RAI that designates him to represent Italy at the Pori International Jazz Festival (Finland).
Daniele Di Bonaventura
Composer, arranger, pianist and bandoneonist, Daniele Di Bonaventura has cultivated since the beginning of his activity a strong interest in improvised music, despite having a classical music education (degree in Composition) started at just 8 years with the study of the piano , cello, composition and conducting.
His collaborations range from classical to contemporary music, from jazz to tango, from ethnic music to world music, with incursions into the world of cinema and dance.
